Trailhead Tour Highlights Climate Impacts to Montana Public Lands

Today, Environment Montana kicks off a statewide “Trailhead Tour” at Logan Pass in Glacier National Park. The group hopes to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on Montana’s public lands.

Last Saturday, June 17th, we kicked off two co-branded summer contests. Through social media activity these contests will celebrate the outdoor opportunities our families enjoy and our communities rely on, while calling attention to what’s at risk.

Yesterday, Senator Tester voted against a dangerous bill that would have given the oil and gas industry an unlimited pass to waste taxpayer-owned resources and expose our kids and communities to toxic pollution released along with methane. By standing up to the oil and gas industry, Senator Tester sent a strong message: our health is not for sale.
